Summer Camps
Songwriting Camp is a fun, creative space for kids to explore how songs are made, from first ideas to finished tunes. Campers will experiment with words, sounds, and musical ideas while learning how to turn inspiration into songs of their own.
Ages: 10-12
Jam Camp is all about making music together in a fun, hands-on way! Whether you’re brand new to your instrument or already love to play, this camp is a place to explore, experiment, and grow as a musician, no pressure, just lots of music.
Ages: 10-12
During this camp participants will get a chance to explore different art making techniques used in murals art and collaborate on a small mural in Carbondale.
Ages: 12-16
Campers will create an original short play, based on the children’s book “Breathe, Bison,” that they will perform during Mountain Fair weekend. The live audience will be invited to participate in breathing exercises and learn the theme song, "Breathe with Oniya". The young performers will amaze the audience with how they share the story of Oniya’s journey, especially with regard to mindfulness, self-love and regenerative agriculture.
Ages: 5-10
Campers will read the story of the bison Oniya from the children’s book “Breathe, Bison,” practice mindful breathing, and spend the day immersed in art projects based on the journey of Oniya. Campers will also create a complete bison diorama, which will be displayed in an exhibition on the last day of camp.
Ages: 5-10
