“Using nature’s poetic language as an endless source of inspiration, I blend organic forms and vivid colors by employing handcrafted techniques like toner transfer and carbon copy, alongside processes like cyanotype, tintype, and ambrotype.”
Carbondale Arts presents “That Which Remains” a solo exhibition by Agustina Mistretta at the Carbondale Arts Gallery, on display August 22 - September 25, 2025. The opening reception will take place Friday, August 22, from 5-7pm at The Launchpad, with an artist talk at 5:30pm.
“Empyreal Odyssey” is a solo show by Benjamin Eric which will run concurrently (August 22 - September) in the second gallery space.
“That Which Remains” by Agustina Mistretta is a poetic interpretation of the language of the mountains, capturing the transitional periods and the apparent changes in the landscape from the perspective of combining personal history, family and found archival material, and a personal obsession with her surrounding topography. Mountains have been a steady guiding force in her life path.
