May First Friday kicks off Carbondale’s summer season of events on May 1, featuring extended hours and events at shops, galleries, restaurants, plus outdoor food trucks and street activities and games offered by community booths.

STREET CLOSURE: Main Street becomes a pedestrian corridor from 4-9pm and is closed to thru traffic from Weant Blvd to Snowmass Ave. New this year: 2nd and 3rd Streets will remain open for cross traffic, with a detour on Sopris Ave.
