Important Information
Mountain Fair is about love, community spirit, and creativity! To keep the fair an inclusive, harmonious, and safe celebration, here are a few reminders on how things work at the Fair.
ALCOHOL CANNOT BE BROUGHT INTO OR TAKEN OUT OF SOPRIS PARK or the Fairgrounds in general, including the Oasis Family Block Party on Main Street or the Vendor Corridor on Weant. IDs and wristbands are required for persons drinking alcohol.
All coolers and large bags will be inspected at the entrances of the park, and we expect all fairgoers to comply with these regulations.
NO PETS OR GLASS ALLOWED IN SOPRIS PARK. Citations from the police will be issued. All pets on Main Street in the Oasis Family Block Party & the Vendor Corridor on Weant must be leashed.
NO WEAPONS OF ANY KIND CAN BE BROUGHT INTO FAIR. Individuals engaging in violent, aggressive, indecent, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the fair.
NO BICYCLES IN SOPRIS PARK
Bicycles must be parked in the bike corrals at 7th and Weant, Euclid and Weant, as well as 4th and Main Streets. Failure to comply may result in removal of your bike from the fair confines. Thanks to Aloha Mountain Cyclery and friends for setting up our bike parking!
FREE RIDES
The Downtowner provides free rides within Carbondale limits. Request rides to Mountain Fair with the Downtowner App or by calling (970)504-0054. Pick up and drop off will be located at the Euclid Entrance. For ADA assistance, press the ADA icon in the app when requesting a ride, or call and notify the dispatcher.

FIRST AID
The Carbondale & Rural Fire District will once again staff the First-Aid Booth, located next to the Entrance/Exit on Euclid Ave. First-Aid kits (for small cuts and bruises) can be found at the Info Booths in Sopris Park & the Oasis.
COOL DOWN
A misting shower will be set up behind the Main Stage gazebo at the corner of 7th and Euclid Ave. Fairgoers are invited to cool off throughout the day, with misters also available at various locations at the Oasis Family Block Party.
LAWN CHAIRS, UMBRELLAS, & SHADE COVERINGS
• A communal shade tent is located next to the Main Stage and is open to everyone, with priority given to individuals with physical challenges. Picnic tables are scattered throughout shady spots in the park, specifically in Yum Town!
• Lawn chairs and umbrellas must be low profile, placed in designated areas marked on the map and comply with signage in the park. Set-up begins Friday, after 3pm and Saturday & Sunday after 8am. All items must be taken home at the end of each day. Items left behind will be placed in Lost & Found at the Info Booth.
BATHROOMS
The Sopris Park bathrooms are closed to the public. Porta potties are located outside of the Weant, Euclid, and 7th Street portals to the park, and adjacent to the promenade off of Main St.
FAMILY RESOURCES
Keep track of your kiddos.
• All minors must be accompanied by an adult while playing in the playground in Sopris Park as well as at the Oasis Family Block Party.
• Wristbands are available at each park portal and at the Oasis HQ for parents to place on their children and write their contact information.
• The Info Booth is in charge of all lost humans, big and small. If you’ve someone, please go to the Info Booth. If you find a lost child, please bring them there!
Need some quiet time?! We’ve got two places for families to take a break.
• The Mama’s Tent, hosted by the Valley View Midwives, is a place for pregnant or breastfeeding individuals to come sit down, cool off, and take a break. Located adjacent to the Massage Tent near the Carbondale Pool.
• Little Blue Preschool is excited to host a quiet napping location and constructive play space during Mountain Fair! Two classrooms (2 months - 4 years old) will be open for children who need a space to rest or quietly read. One classroom (3 years - 6 years old) will be open for puzzles, sensory play, and manipulatives to engage kids that are looking for a refreshing creative brain break. Little Blue Preschool will be open from 12:30pm - 3:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday, at 55 North 7th Street, follow the signs from the Oasis. This space is free! Parents must be present with their children at all times and all children welcome (see age recommendations).

NO SE PERMITE INGRESAR NI SACAR BEBIDAS ALCOHÓLICAS del Parque Sopris ni de las instalaciones de la Feria, incluyendo el Oasis Family Block Party en Main Street y el Corredor de Vendedores en Weant. Todas las personas que consuman bebidas alcohólicas deberán presentar una identificación válida y portar una pulsera. Todas las hieleras y bolsas grandes serán revisadas en las entradas del parque. NO SE PERMITEN BICICLETAS DENTRO DEL PARQUE SOPRIS. Las bicicletas deberán estacionarse en los biciestacionamientos ubicados en:
7th Street y Weant | Euclid y Weant | 4th Street y Main Street
El incumplimiento de esta norma puede resultar en el retiro de la bicicleta del recinto de la Feria. ¡Gracias a Aloha Mountain Cyclery y sus colaboradores por instalar el estacionamiento para bicicletas!
TRANSPORTE GRATUITO Downtowner ofrece transporte gratuito dentro de los límites de Carbondale. Solicite su viaje hacia Mountain Fair mediante la aplicación Downtowner o llamando al (970) 504-0054. El punto de recogida y descenso estará ubicado en la entrada de Euclid.
Para solicitar asistencia conforme a la Ley para Estadounidenses con Discapacidades (ADA), seleccione el ícono ADA en la aplicación al solicitar su viaje o llame para informar al despachador.
PRIMEROS AUXILIOS
El Distrito de Bomberos de Carbondale y Rural Fire District atenderá nuevamente el puesto de Primeros Auxilios, ubicado junto a la entrada/salida de Euclid Avenue.
También encontrará botiquines para cortaduras y golpes menores en los puestos de Información del Parque Sopris y del Oasis.
ÁREA PARA REFRESCARSE
Habrá una ducha de agua tipo neblina detrás del escenario principal, en la esquina de 7th Street y Euclid Avenue.
Además, habrá estaciones de aspersores en distintos puntos del Oasis Family Block Party para ayudar a los asistentes a refrescarse durante el día.
SILLAS, SOMBRILLAS Y ÁREAS DE SOMBRA
Hay una carpa comunitaria con sombra junto al escenario principal, abierta para todas las personas, con prioridad para quienes tengan desafíos de movilidad o discapacidades físicas. También encontrará mesas de picnic en las zonas sombreadas del parque, especialmente en Yum Town.
Las sillas plegables y sombrillas deben ser de perfil bajo, colocarse únicamente en las áreas designadas indicadas en el mapa y respetar la señalización del parque.
La instalación está permitida: Viernes después de las 3:00 p.m. | Sábado y domingo después de las 8:00 a.m.
Todos los artículos deberán retirarse al finalizar cada día. Los objetos olvidados serán llevados al área de Objetos Perdidos del Puesto de Información.
BAÑOS
Los baños permanentes del Parque Sopris permanecerán cerrados al público.
Habrá sanitarios portátiles ubicados: Fuera de las entradas de Weant, Euclid y 7th Street, Junto al paseo peatonal que conecta con Main Street.
RECURSOS PARA FAMILIAS
Mantenga siempre ubicados a sus niños.
Todos los menores deberán estar acompañados por un adulto mientras juegan en el área infantil del Parque Sopris o en el Oasis Family Block Party.
Habrá pulseras disponibles en todas las entradas del parque y en el puesto principal del Oasis para que los padres escriban su información de contacto.
El Puesto de Información es el punto de reunión para personas extraviadas, tanto niños como adultos. Si perdió a alguien, acuda al Puesto de Información. Si encuentra a un niño perdido, por favor llévelo allí.
¿Necesitan un momento de tranquilidad?
Habrá dos espacios disponibles para que las familias puedan descansar.
La Carpa de Mamás, organizada por Valley View Midwives, ofrece un lugar tranquilo para personas embarazadas o en período de lactancia donde podrán sentarse, refrescarse y descansar. Está ubicada junto a la Carpa de Masajes, cerca de la piscina de Carbondale.
Little Blue Preschool ofrecerá un espacio tranquilo para descansar y jugar durante Mountain Fair.
Dos salones (para niños de 2 meses a 4 años) estarán disponibles para descansar o leer tranquilamente.
Un salón (para niños de 3 a 6 años) contará con rompecabezas, juegos sensoriales y actividades manipulativas para quienes necesiten un descanso creativo.
