47th Annual Valley Visual Art Show

Carbondale Arts presented the 47th Annual Valley Visual Art Show which opened Friday, January 23, 2026 at our gallery space located inside The Launchpad (76 S 4th Street). This juried group exhibition was on display through February 26, 2026.
The Valley Visual Art Show is one of the longest-standing community art shows committed to showing the work of local artists. VVAS began in 1980 as a venue for local artists to share their artwork with the public. VVAS still provides this opportunity, especially for artists new to the area and budding artists, but the show has also become both a salute to the wide variety of artistic talents in our area and a time to bring the artist community together.
This year’s annual show featured about 75 Roaring Fork Valley artists and included two and three dimensional work created in with wide variety of media. We received work from many new/emerging artists as well as many long-time/established local artists from in and around the Roaring Fork Valley.
