The “Tiny Print Showcase” is presented by Carbondale Arts with an open call for entries closing July 1, 2026. Jurors Johanna Mueller and Ray Muñoz are joining us, plus a handful of invited artists. Open to all printmakers currently living in the state of Colorado!

JULY 9 - AUGUST 13, 2026

“The Way Is Not A Way But A Place” by mixed media artist Chloe Wilwerding proposes a shift from achievement in nature towards wonder, intimacy, and attention to the landscape. In our fast-paced, achievement-oriented outdoor culture, a hiking trail can be a means to an end—towards a step goal, collecting mountain peaks, or conquering summits.

JULY 9 - AUGUST 13, 2026

The GEOart Collective is an international consortium of textile artists who share a love and fascination of nature and the geosciences. Artists include Nancy Dobson, Theresa Ely, Mary Louise Gerek, Neffra Matthews, Janet Scruggs, Susan Serreze, and Anne Severn. The artists have been exploring themes including Cracks, Layers, and Water for this show.

MAY 29 - JULY 3, 2026

Visceral Alchemy‍ celebrates transformation in its most personal and enduring form. This exhibition explores the powerful act of creating—or receiving—artwork that lasts a lifetime. Tattooers are constantly creating. They regularly translate deeply personal ideas into original works of art, blending in their own style and aesthetic. Their process is both collaborative and expressive.
