GALLERY MANAGER
This position supports the Art Base’s ability to support artists and host dynamic exhibitions. This individual will work with exhibiting artists to implement their vision in our gallery space.

Roaring Fork Drawing Club
Meets every Tuesday
The Roaring Fork Drawing Club began in the fall of 2017 with a couple of art friends, Lindsay Jones (graphic designer/illustrator) and Brian Colley (painter/illustrator). Drawing Club is a free, informal social group open to all skill-levels with no teachers and no specific themes: just an opportunity to get out your sketchbook (or coloring book, notepad, bar napkin collection, etc) and meet fellow sketchers in our community. We do not provide supplies, so bring whatever you need to draw with! We kindly ask that anyone under the age of 18 be joined by a parent/guardian.
We typically meet every week in the summer, usually in and around Carbondale, and about every other week or so in fall/winter/spring. You can always message us on IG @rfdrawingclub or email us at rfdrawingclub@gmail.com with questions/comments/suggestions.
Glenwood Springs Art Guild Opportunities

Since 1962 the Glenwood Springs Art Guild has promoted participation in the visual arts through camaraderie, helpful and warm encouragement, and opportunities for art education. We also get together just to have fun, and to enjoy and expand our mutual interest in visual arts. We’re better because we’re together!
Some of us are professional level, others are tiptoeing into producing and exhibiting our art. New members are welcome, as are demonstrations and workshops by other local artists.

Call for Public Art in Basalt
Deadline to apply is May 31, 2025
The Town of Basalt has issued an open call to sculptural artists to apply to display their work for up to two years in downtown Basalt. The deadline to apply is May 1, 2025, with a goal of June through November installation.
The focus for 2025 is to install temporary art within the Midland Streetscape area of Basalt and then expand to designated areas in Willits Town Center in 2026.
The art will be installed for two years with an option for the Town to extend the display or purchase the art piece for its permanent collection.
It’s free to apply. Artists must be at least 18 years of age to enter. Ideally, the artist will have experience with the materials proposed for the sculpture and can provide examples of work. Local, regional, and Colorado-based artists will be given priority.

2025 Artist Fellowship Applications Open
Deadline to apply is June 2
Carbondale Arts’ Artist Fellowship Program is for artists and creatives of any genre, who need some funding to help them further their career, their art or their ideas.
This fellowship can help an artist develop a vision, buy supplies, or rent rehearsal/studio space; it can help with residency/workshop fees or for marketing purposes. The uses are limitless, but the requests should be specific.
Thanks to the Wolfpack Foundation and Carbondale Arts supporters we are able to offer $12,000 in funding this year.

Show your art at FirstBank in Carbondale
Carbondale Arts partners with FirstBank in Carbondale (791 Hwy 133 by City Market) to feature work by local artists each spring and fall for approximately 6 months at a time. Two artists are featured simultaneously and commission proceeds benefit Carbondale Arts (a small stipend provided to artists).

The Carbondale Creative Directory showcases the breadth and talent of our creative community. Anyone can conduct a filtered search for local businesses and/or individuals to support our creative economy.

The listing is only $25 per year, and in addition to being part of the searchable database you also are eligible for additional benefits including:
