Join CCAH for the Opening Reception of the 33rd Annual Valley Visual Arts Show, features woodworking, painting, photography, and ceramics by over 50 different local artists. This year’s show includes both artists who are new to the valley and many of our long time talented artists. ” The Valley Visual is really a celebration of all the amazing artists we have in this valley,” explained CCAH ED Amy Kimberly, “The excellent array of work that is being produced around here is astounding.” Not only is the VVAS an excellent venue for artists to show their work but it is an wonderful way for the community to support local artists by purchasing their work. CCAH is changing their openings from First Fridays to give more focus to the artists. However, if you are unable to attend he Opening Reception, please come by both the R2 Gallery at CCAH or stop by the Bonfire Coffee to view the Valley Visual Art Show during Carbondale’s First Friday, February 1st from 6-8 or during regular business hours throughout the month of February and into March.
