Art Share 2019, Part 2: A Colorado Creative District Watercolor Show
Submission deadline is February 28
Colorado Mountain College (CMC), along with the Carbondale Creative District, is mounting three shows in 2019 focusing on artists from Colorado’s Creative Districts. Selected artworks for each exhibition will hang in Morgridge Commons in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and may travel to other CMC locations in Colorado Creative District areas. All submitted works must be available for sale and be ready to hang. The CMC gallery takes a 30% commission on any sales. A detailed exhibition agreement will be sent to artists upon acceptance.
Applications are now online and due by February 28. Copy and paste the link below:
48th Annual Carbondale Mountain Fair Valley Artists' Booth
July 26-28, 2019
The 2019 Valley Artists' Booth will be at the 48th Annual Mountain Fair here in Carbondale on July 26-28. The booth allows local artists to exhibit and sell their artwork in a cooperative, inexpensive way. Gallery space is limited, and artwork is juried. Accepted artisans must be current members of Carbondale Arts and reside in an "816" ZIP code area. Submissions must be your own handmade (not manufactured, not imported) work. Criteria for judging include quality and uniqueness of items.
Applications will be made available in May of 2019.
Solo or Group Shows at Bonfire Coffee
Carbondale Arts also manages the artwork shown at Bonfire Coffee, located right on Main Street in downtown Carbondale and is an excellent high-traffic venue to display art. If you are interested in exhibiting at Bonfire, please contact Brian Colley at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 970-963-1680.
