Carbondale Arts presented the 45th Annual Valley Visual Art Show, which opened Friday, January 19and was on exhibition afterwards each weekday (10am-5pm) at our gallery space located inside The Launchpad (76 S 4th Street) through February 22, 2024.

The Valley Visual Art Show is one of the longest-standing community art shows committed to showing the work of local artists. VVAS began in 1980 as a venue for local artists to share their artwork with the public. VVAS still provides this opportunity, especially for artists new to the area and budding artists, but the show has also become both a salute to the wide variety of artistic talents in our area and a time to bring the artist community together.
Last year’s 44th annual show featured about 60 Roaring Fork Valley artists and included two and three dimensional work created in with wide variety of media. We received work from many new artists as well as many long-time local artists from the Roaring Fork Valley.
