Jamie is originally from La Crosse, Wisconsin where she enjoyed spending time outdoors and studied Outdoor Recreation at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She moved out to Colorado in the summer of 2015 to follow her passion for the outdoors. She eventually found her home in the Roaring Fork Valley in May 2017 to work as a Recreation Coordinator with the Town of Carbondale Parks & Recreation Department. Even though the outdoors is her number one passion, she has always had a creative outlook on life that dates back as early as the fourth grade. In high school, she had entered an art contest where one of her watercolor pieces was chosen to be hung in the U.S. capitol in Washington D.C. Currently, she enjoys drawing and painting from real life experiences in the form of watercolor and aspires to continue to share her art with the valley through commissioned pieces.
