CU Lecture Series with Ricarose Roque

In this talk, Ricarose Roque, Assistant Professor in the Information Science department at the University of Colorado Boulder, will explore how to design inclusive learning experiences that enable young people to create and express themselves with new technologies and media. For the past seven years, Professor Roque has led the Family Creative Learning project, a program with a special focus on youth from underrepresented groups in computing. She joined CU Boulder from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she completed her PhD in Media Arts and Sciences with the Lifelong Kindergarten research group at the MIT Media Lab.
