Carbondale Arts and The Art Base are hosting “Artwork Feedback Nights” as part of their commitment to serving local artists, with the next one to be held on Thursday, May 24, from 6-8:30pm at The Art Base (76 S. 4th St., Carbondale). Being critiqued isn’t easy but often helps artists problem solve and progress. Insight between artists, peers and critics often spark phenomenal ideas. Feedback Nights are given by professional and accomplished artists and curators in a casual environment (BYOB) with 3 other artists. May’s Artist Review will be facilitated by Tania Dibbs. Known for her work in oils, encaustic and sculpture, Tania Dibbs explores the complicated relationship between the natural world and mankind in her most recent work. She has showcased her work in a range of solo and group shows across the United States.
Participation in Artwork Feedback Night is limited to four people—artists are invited to bring works in progress or finished works for a 30 minute critique in a casual environment (BYOB). FREE for current members of both Carbondale Arts and the Art Base in Basalt, and just $20 for non-members. The discount promo code is MEMBER. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your spot at future session. Other dates in 2018 are June 15 (The Launchpad), July 19 (The Art Base), August 17 (The Launchpad), and October 19 (The Launchpad).
